TBR Series ( Thermowell)

 Description & Features:                                  

• Available in a wide range of materials for use on most applications

• Standard “stepped construction” offering is complemented by an array of custom Thermowells including: straight, tapered, sanitary and flanged configurations

• CRN registered

• 5 year warranty

 Applications:

• Allows for the creation of a “sealed system”, whereby the thermometer can be removed from the application without the need for shutting down or draining the system

• To protect the thermometer from possible exposure to the process media

  Snubbers

•         Brass, lead free brass or 316 SS Material.

•         Available in 3 different viscosity classifications (air, heavy oil or water)

•         1/4” or 1/2” female x male NPT

•         10,000 psi (68,950 kPa) brass or 20,000 psi (137,900 kPa) 316SS maximum operating pressures

•         Significantly lessens the damaging effects of pulsation on gauges, transducers, manometers and pressure switches

 Cooling Tower

•         All 316 SS device with perforated case and internal spiral tubing protects pressure instruments from process media where temperature exceeds instrument rating

−     Process media up to 300°C / 570°F or 500°C / 932°F

−     May reduce media temperature by as much as 260°C / 500°F

−     1/4” or 1/2” NPT connections

−     Maximum operating pressure of 1,500 psi 

 Lead Free Mini Ball Valves

•         Forged brass  or lead free brass body

•         T-handle or lever handle

•         1/4” female x female or

            female x male connection

•         400 psi (2,758 kPa) maximum operating pressure

•         Provides flow control for non-corrosive applications

 Over Pressure Protector

•         All 316 SS device with external set-point adjustment screw and lock, allowing the user to select a preset pressure value; SOP automatically shuts off once present value is exceeded

Syphon

·         Available in steel, brass, 304 or 316 stainless steel

·         1/4” or 1/2” NPT male connections

·         Recommended for applications involving temperatures above 100°F (37°C)

·         The syphon prevents hot steam from entering a pressure gauge, diaphragm seal or transmitter

Test Plugs

•      Brass or lead free brass body

•      1/4” or 1/2” NPT connections

•      1,000 psi (6,895 kPa) maximum operating pressure

•      Facilitates quick pressure and temperature readings at recommended test points
